first twins

between all the prime numbers there are some that are even more special.

mathematicians call them 'first twins': they are couples of prime numbers that always stay near, one to the other; or rather 'quite' near, because between them there is always an even number that doesn't allow them to touch each other.
Numbers like 11, 13 or like 17, 19... 41, 43.

If you have enough time and patience to count, it will be obvious that these couples will thin out. More and more prime and isolated numbers will appear, lost in that silent and measured space built only by digits.

as we go along, it looks like all these couples are all 'accidentally' together.
and, anyway, their only true destiny would be to stay alone. Then, just when it's clearly visible... when nobody would continue to count... that's it: first twins, clutched, squeezed.

mathematicians say that, counting infinitesimally, there would always exist another 'first twins': even if nobody knows where, when...

You and me are just it, first twins: near, whenever you decide it, but however not able to touch...
